New Sports Pavillion

Project Type:

Location:

Over Wallop, Hampshire

Project Overview

The new Over Wallop Pavilion has been designed to provide a modern, accessible space that meets the needs of the entire community. In collaboration with Chaplin Farrant Wiltshire Architects, we constructed a purpose-built facility that enhances both local sport and social gatherings.

With the removal of the existing prefab concrete structure, work began on creating a contemporary pavilion featuring a striking glazed frontage with a canopy. Inside, the building includes high-quality changing and shower rooms for both home and away teams, a spacious communal area with a canteen, and improved parking facilities to enhance accessibility.

The pavilion was officially opened by the Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Ian Jeffrey, alongside Southampton North MP Caroline Nokes and Over Wallop Parish Council Chair Kate Dixon. It now provides a dedicated home for Over Wallop Cricket Club and Hampshire United, ensuring a lasting legacy for local sport.

"It has been a pleasure working with you over the last year. Thank you for all your skill, humour and patience."
