Project Overview

This bespoke country house combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary family living, creating a home that is both architecturally distinctive and sympathetic to its rural setting. Defined by sweeping rooflines, carefully considered proportions and a refined material palette, the design establishes a strong yet timeless presence within the landscape.

Exceptional craftsmanship is evident throughout, from the feature creasing tile arches and buttresses to the intricate curved stonework that frames the entrance. A distinctive stone canopy extends from the exterior into the interior, creating a seamless architectural transition between outside and in, while the prominent chimneys take inspiration from the work of Sir Edwin Lutyens.

Inside, a series of dramatic triple-height and double-height spaces provide a remarkable sense of scale and light. Vaulted ceilings and galleries overlooking the principal living areas strengthen visual connections throughout the home. The result is a highly individual residence that combines exceptional craftsmanship, traditional detailing and the requirements of modern living in a timeless country house setting.
