Manor House

Project Overview

The restoration and extension of this Grade II listed building required careful adjustments to suit the owners’ needs, while retaining and enhancing the historic character of the estate.

A late 19th-century stable block was thoughtfully converted into new living accommodation, featuring a new custom oak-framed staircase extension with double-glazed panels, set on a flint base. Elsewhere, existing openings were extended to floor level with new oak and glass doors installed. Also, a former garage was rebuilt to create a dedicated study, in the style of the manor house.

Alongside these architectural refinements, sustainability improvements were introduced with a new air source heat pump system. The result balances heritage preservation and traditional materials, with modern performance.

We just wanted to say a big thank - you to and your team for all their hard work, commitment and skill in our stable conversion. It has been transformed into a marvellous living space!
