Edwardian Refurbishment

Location:

South Downs National Park

Project Overview

In the heart of the South Downs National Park, this beautiful galleted flint Edwardian property been reworked to bring more light, space, and comfort to a much-loved family home.

An existing conservatory was removed and replaced with two contemporary extensions featuring Crittall-style glazing, and roof lanterns. These additions have been designed to complement the existing structure, opening up the rear of the house to create a light, open-plan living space.

Temporary works and new steel structures were put in place during construction to ensure the building remained stable and secure during these works.

Externally, the transformation continued with new landscaping including a dining terrace, retaining walls, curved garden steps, and a feature fountain.

Inside, a bespoke Tom Bayley kitchen and lighting design by Hugo Fleming Light Design complete the interior scheme.
